Tips to improve psoriasis
Psoriasis is a very common disease in people; I myself have psoriasis since age 13. At first concerned with what many dermatologists, as originally had only the scalp, thought it was a Seborrheic dermatitis, a normal thing at that age with the change of hormones. But over time was quickening in the area and has been deployed throughout the body. For people who have psoriasis and they must know that is a chronic disease for life, but having it is very natural, 2% of world population does. Bone 8 more or less 10,000 people suffer from psoriasis.
So far there are no formulas that can combat this in a 100% efficient as it changes according tothe individual, but there are several things that help. First let's see what the main features of psoriasis are in case you do not know what it is.
The symptoms are skin lesions, scaly skin, or red spots that itch and sometimes hurt by region. Are layers of skin flakes, which are in a red zone, sometimes, doing not reach the scaling but are simply a red zone, as if hurt. It usually manifests itself in these areas: scalp, joints such as elbows, knees, below the nails, hands, legs and sometimes in the area of the face such as eyebrows and nose.
Tips for maintaining best psoriasis:
- Prevent Obesity
- Maintain a balanced diet, no fat and lots of fruit and vegetables
- Avoid excessive alcoholic beverages and soft drinks
- Treat the affected area that receives direct sun
- There are many products to combat psoriasis; many of them are based on cortisone, which is not advisable for most people.
(I at this moment I am using a product called Efacort here, which is based on Clobetasol Popionato so far is the result gave me more)
- I've heard that many products based on Aloe Vera are very efficient and less harmful to the skin.
- Advice, scratching not pique much more than just make matters worse, causes infection and it hurts much improved psoriasis
Two things that do not help the psoriasis is stress, because it is a psychosomatic illness, bone that is a way to channel our stress, through the skin. The cold weather is not very good either, and personal counseling, for psoriasis in the scalp but not this proven, there is more chance of having psoriasis on the scalp if you have long hair and leave it wet too long.
So try to avoid alcohol consumption, poor feeding, scratching at the lesions, the stress and make healthy life as much as you can, take sun and consult their physician.
