What is Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic disease that affects the skin of the face causing redness in areas like the cheeks, nose, forehead, chin and occasionally on the neck and chest. There are different types of Rosacea, the smallest is presented as a permanent flush and you can see blood vessels in very publicly. Another type of Rosacea redness presents the classic but with the appearance of red bumps or pimples may form pustules. Rosacea is also characterized by a thickening of the skin, especially of the nose, reaching a level to cause facial deformities, such Rosacea is more common in men than in women. There are treatments with topical antibiotics and oral, in some cases they may resort to surgery, can also give very good results with laser treatments.
